Initial Comments:
An onsite follow-up survey conducted on October 31, 2022 found that Fresenius Medical Care of Chambersburg had corrected the following deficiencies cited under 42 CFR, Part 494, Subparts A, B, C, and D, Conditions for Coverage of Suppliers of End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Services. As a result of the follow-up survey, the condition level citations cited at: 494.30 Infection Control and 494.150 Responsibilities of the Medical Director were lifted through full implementation of the approved plan of correction. The deficiencies were cited as a result of a Medicare recertification survey that was completed on September 16, 2022.
